As a partner in the Expedia Affiliate Program you will earn the following commission rates when you refer customers to Expedia using one of the links provided for you in the Commission Junction Account Manager.
- Air: $3.00 per transaction
- Agency Hotels: 3% per transaction
- Merchant Hotels: 5.5% per transaction (Performance Incentives up to 6%)
- Vacation packages: 2.5% per transaction
- Car rentals: 2% per transaction
- Cruises: $20 per transaction (Performance Incentives up to $30)
- Travelshops (Activities): 5% per transaction
The above commissions are earned on completed travel stays. In the program terms listed in your Commission Junction Account Manager you will notice that the booking action for each merchandise type has a commission of $0 and that the commission rate is associated with the confirmation action for each merchandise type. The reason we include the $0 booking action is so you can see how much travel you are selling on a daily basis.
Expedia uses batch process to send Commission Junction travel booking and completed stay information so you can expect your account to update once a day with sales information from the previous day.
